BIO
Amber Case is a Cyborg Anthropologist and Social Media Consultant living in Portland, Oregon. She is active in the local Portland tech community and attends (and sometimes reviews) conferences, meetups, tweetups, and other events and is a member of the Portland’s SECP and SEMPDX.
Amber received her degree in Sociology/Anthropology from Lewis & Clark College in this Spring with a thesis on “The Cell Phone and Its Technosocial sites of Engagement”. Amber blogs about technology and local tech events at Oakhazelnut.com and co-hosts a podcast called Hazelnut Tech Talk. She currently works part-time at the Portland Small Business Accelerator as an Internet Marketing Coordinator.
