Over the last few years we’ve seen a proliferation of technologies that are effectively opening up the Web in ways we never thought possible, creating a new convergence of data and applications. The next few years will see new tools and means to share, control and manage all of the pieces of your digital identity. Why should you care about this? This isn’t just a geek solution. The privacy and policy ramifications are huge (and oddly enough hugely boring) but the things you’ll be able to build in the coming years will eclipse anything we could even imagine today.
